An amazing feat of human achievement was displayed in the Beijing Opening Ceremonies.... as will be the athleticism that it announces. I suspect God in all forms and under all names was smiling on Urantia.
Viewing an invitiation to the world to unite in honorable competition for the next several days evicted a feeling of human unity. An invitiation to lay down our differences and unite as evolving humans on a tiny planet in the grand universe. Perhaps the planting of a seed in the minds of humanity to focus on our similarities. A letting go of our desire to have uniformity in belief and a celebration of our awareness of our fragility and commonality.
Patience, Tolerance, Forgiveness.... makes the world go 'round.
